My Noun Is So Adjective 23

The dog's name, Greg Grunberg, was etched into the tags.

The spastic pup was named after J.J. Abrams's good luck charm. "Seems like something Will would name his pet." Bradley scoffed. The sudden appearance of this dog was highly suspicious, if not incredibly annoying.

"Yip, yip!" barked Greg. The dog ran eastward, stopped, and turned his head toward Bradley as if to say, "Follow me!"

Will's scent continued in that direction, so Bradley reluctantly decided to pursue the pup. Luckily his desire for revenge overpowered his extreme embarrassment.

Elsewhere, Will was running for his life; a Super Soaker wielding croc hot on his tail. Will was indeed a legendary man and so were his fleeing skills.

Photobucket

It was a flawless plan: while the croc was on the phone, Will would bolt out the office flap. The genius was in its simplicity. Mr. Dile was having a hard time keeping up with Will's impressive cowardice.

The exit of the tent was just ahead, and Will turned his head to see if he was losing the croc. In the moment he had his head turned, Will ran right into a noun.

My Noun Is So Adjective 22

In response to the trick, Bradley praised the dog sarcastically.

Bradley performed a slow clap to really drive the point home. However, either the dog was bad at reading sarcasm, or Bradley's emotionless cold stare wasn't conveying the sentiment properly. Regardless, the dog mistook the insult as genuine praise and began jumping up and down with joy.

Bradley was not looking for new friends, especially not spastic dogs wearing bowler hats.

"Who do you think you are?" purred Bradley.

The dog stopped hopping, turned toward the cat, and coughed up some doggy tags. Bradley crouched down to read the saliva covered tags.

The dog's name, Proper Noun, was etched into the tags.

My Noun Is So Adjective 21

As Bradley drew closer a dog jumped out from behind a tree holding a bowler hat in its jaws.

Bradley recoiled in horror and disgust; the dog stared right into his eyes. After several moments of staring each other down, the dog tossed the hat into the air.

The hat flew up, and then dropped down and landed on the happy dog's head.

"Yip, yip!" said the dog as if to say, "Ta-da!"

In response to the trick, Bradley verbed the dog adverb...ly.

My Noun Is So Adjective 20

Much to Bradley's dismay, the trail continued to the east through a dog park.

Photobucket

"No no no no no." thought Bradley. Passing through a dog park would like be walking through eleven billion doggy doors. The embarrassment would physically stain a proud cat's fur. He might as well start humping legs, digging holes, and begging... for Beggin' Strips.

"Perhaps Will is already dead. I should just go find another gullible man-slave." Bradley turned to abandon his quest, but the searing need for revenge burned like a hot coal in his feline heart.

"Doesn't Will care that he threw weird garbage into my fine feasting goblet? What kind of monster leaves his perfect and beautiful cat to starve? A monster that must be punished! A thousand slashes to the face! I will not rest until his blood is on my claws and he is back in the kitchen toiling away at the next fantastic meal, weeping and bleeding over the stove!"

Bradley turned, took a giant breath, and marched his way toward the dog park. As Bradley drew closer a dog jumped out from behind a tree holding a noun in its jaws.

Oh right, I still have a blog. I have been taking a break and working on other projects (playing lots of video games). A much needed recoup time after a punishing semester of grad school. It's been very hard to even think about creative projects or come up with jokes lately. It's like a creative writer's block. It's a pretty big problem that I'm solving the only way I know how. Video games. It seems to be working, so my plan is to continue making My Noun Is So Adjective very soon. Any objections?
